Graphics of 15%, 20% & 25% Garden Coverages

Folks,

Neighbor Morgan Penix put together some renderings that would give folks an idea of what 15% , 20% and 25% coverages would look like.

Neighbor David Matiella sent this version with 36% coverage if the entire perimeter were used as shown here.

This is not a final design submission by any means. Just something that will help those who are more visual learners.

Thanks,

Dave Evans

  1. Thank you very much for putting those diagrams together Morgan.

It will be important for us to remember that there are many design opportunities to consider before we commit to a certain geometry.

  2. This is definitely true David! These are only simple shapes that represent percentages of coverage.

  3. Morgan, I understand, thank you. :) And thank you Dave for helping to clarify what these diagrams represent.

I asked Dave (thank you!) to include a sketchup diagram showing how much space is available around the perimeter of the park in the "setback" area. Like the diagrams you submitted, this diagram is only intended to represent a % of land and not a gesture at a design geometry. Thanks.
